With Schuller's megawatt smile and positive-thinking preaching, the ministry played a key role in American Evangelical Christianity, culture, and even touched on world politics.
 
But fast-forward to 2024, and the Crystal Cathedral has been uprooted from its Protestant roots and now transformed into a CATHOLIC Cathedral  - rebranded as the Christ Cathedral.
