N. Korea denies exporting weapons to Russia, rejecting U.S. accusations

North Korea's defense ministry has rejected accusations of selling arms to Russia, saying it has never exported weapons or ammunition to the country and has no plans to do so.
In a statement published on the North's state-run Korean Central News Agency, a top military official called the U.S. claims groundless and slammed them as efforts to taint the regime's image.
American officials said earlier this month that Moscow could be purchasing millions of artillery shells and rockets from North Korea, which would violate multiple UN Security Council resolutions.
