The lesson begins with the chord shapes: C and G. This is one of the easiest songs on guitar; it only uses two chords. We work out the switch and then we practice the chord shapes using downstrokes only, counting along so we can learn how to keep our place in the song and avoid getting lost.

Next we learn the strumming pattern. This song uses the most common strumming pattern on guitar. We practice it slowly, breaking it down, and learn to FEEL it!

We put the strumming pattern together with our chord progression and play through it all. This one is really simple, really quick and could be your very first song on guitar!

The song starts with an easy blues riff for beginners. It is based on the C shape, using 6ths. We break it down, with TAB to help you see what's happening, and practice playing it.
