1935 Chevy Truck for Sale

Описание: 1935 Chevy truck.titled as a 1-ton, but most likely it is a 1 1/2 ton by the fact of being a dually with a 2-speed rear end. Though the truck is in pretty decent shape considering it is 76 years old, it will need a major restoration to put it back in show condition. We are too back-logged in our shop to have time for it. When we got it, the previous owner had painted it, probably home spray gun style to have it look nice for a yard ornament.. It is a solid old truck from out West with little to no rust and would be a perfect restoration candidate. We did take time to check it out mechanically, curious if the running gear functions. We found the engine had a broken lifter and bent push rod. We feel the cam needs replacement which is simple on these tough old straight 6 Chevy engines from the next generation. The engine is a 1960 235 cubic inch Chevrolet L-6, the block casting number is 3769716. We feel the cam is worn down because the fuel pump lobe won't run the pump, which we tested manually to confirm it is good. Also, the bad lifter and push rod we replaced in cylinder #6 is not showing full lift with the tappet adjusted as far as we dared go. Evidently someone not knowing what they were doing had over tightened it in the past. The rocker arm has very little movement. We really don't want to take time to replace the cam, but were we going to keep the truck, that is the first thing we would do.
