Group 1 aim for LA ISLA MUJERES after Galway success | Racing TV

Описание: Rider Billy Lee enjoyed a dream comeback after eight weeks on the sidelines with a double at Galway on Tuesday, headlined by victory aboard the smart La Isla Mujeres in the feature Listed Ardilaun Hotel Irish EBF Oyster Stakes.

She looked to have her rivals in trouble when travelling strongly on the front-end and saw it out strongly up the hill at Ballybrit to score by over three lengths from from Bonnie Moon (22/1) in second with Island Hopping (8/1) a head further back in third.

This was a big success for trainer Paddy Twomey on a big night in his training career, after earlier success with Iowa City brought up a career-best domestic tally of 32 winners.

The trainer said on his Listed scorer: "I think she is good enough for the (Group 1) Prix Royal-Oak on Arc weekend and she is five-turning-six, so they might want to breed from her. She is also in the Cesarewitch, but I'd imagine they'd like to win a Group race and the Longchamp race might be the right one for her.

"Billy is back, which is great, and has had two rides and two winners."
