This $30 camera was undervalued because of it's condition. After I cleaned it up, it's looking like a verifiable hidden gem. The Nikon F80 was originally released on January 27th, 2000 and a sequel was planned but inevitably dropped as the camera was discontinued in 2006.
After researching the camera a bit, I learned that the F80 is incompatible with pre-AI lenses but that still doesn't really explain why the Soligor 28mm 2.8 AI I have doesn't mount, if anyone out there knows what's different about the Soligor AI mount, please let me know in the comments.
