Starting from the Divide Car Park, I made the push all the way to Conical Hill before turning around and heading straight back the same way. Ten hours on one of New Zealand’s most iconic alpine tracks — moving through changing light, weather, and terrain the entire day.
Long climbs. Technical sections. Big views. Quiet stretches. Just forward movement from start to finish.
A full marathon distance in the mountains.
