Hiii! My name's Andy Munar, I'm from Panama🇵🇦 and I did a gap year with Class Afloat on 2022-2023. This is very detailed day of what was like being a student onboard of a tall ship (Alexander vonHumbolt II💚) for 6 months.

I have been working on this video for 6 months, it got deleted so many times that I almost gave up, but I finally finished! so there you have it. ENJOY!

Class Afloat 2022-23

A year ago, this extraordinary and amazing experience started where I got to call home a beautiful tall ship for 6 months (Oct. 15, 2022 - Apr. 13, 2023⛵🏠), but it was a really hard one, filled with challenges, personal discovery, changes, and growth. It changed my life and perception of things.
You probably have only seen and heard about the good parts, but there are many things not that pretty behind them. There were many ups and downs, a lot of crying and tears, having to deal with a stressful environment that put me to my limits, I had my lowest point of my life, there were many moments where I felt like quitting but I didn't, and I made it to the end knowing how much I changed since the first day.
I may regret many things but at least I can say that I tried it and I got myself up every time something didn't work out. While being surrounded by people that helped me navigate through the toughest situations and I will be forever grateful with them.
I am now starting the next chapter of my life in a new country, and I am carrying with me everything that I have gotten the opportunity to learn during Class Afloat. Forever in my heart ❤️
