Featured Dog Agility Trainer: Tara LaBelle: Increase distance using verbal cues

Описание: Tara has shared with us a video of a dog agility training drill that uses handling from a chair to create a further understanding of certain behaviors as well as to increase distance skills when using verbal cues. The beginning of this video is new and the ending includes a segment from her 2-Jump Skills for Success class.

Tara LaBelle lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and is a multiple-time Canadian World Team member. She's currently both an AAC and UKI agility judge. Her latest adventures took place at the 2019 IFCS, European Open, and FCI Agility World Championships with her Border Collie Jet. Jet is an 8-time IFCS medalist and 3-time world champion, winning gold in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Jet is on the Team Canada 2022 WAO and IFCS world teams.

Tara is a frequent instructor in the Clean Run Learning Center. Her courses on 1-Jump Skills, 2-Jump Skills for Success, Verbal Threadle Cues, and Tunnel Skills have been very popular. Tara's teaching style uses upbeat motivational methods to get the best out of each team. We’re excited to have more courses from her coming in the near future! Her Tunnel Skills course will be available as a self-study course in October.
