JAPAN AIRLINES B777-300 JL48 Economy Class - Helsinki to Tokyo Haneda, HEL-HND (4K)

Описание: After a few days in Helsinki, and the same in Rovaniemi it was time to start heading home, but with a pitstop in Tokyo.

It also provided the opportunity to once again fly on the Japan Airlines Boeing B777, as they are gradually getting replaced by the Airbus A350 (plus I have only flown in the JAL B777 in Business Class & Premium Economy).

Due to the late arrival of the aircraft from Tokyo, the departure was delayed, which was well communicated (first message received from the airline 10 hours prior to departure).

Once at the airport, there was a wait till check-in opened, however this was more a case of me arriving early. Once checked in , it was time to chill out in the Finnair Platinum Wing Lounge (access courtesy of my frequent flyer status).

Boarding and Departure of the flight was late, as advised, it was a totally full flight.

The seat was comfortable, service impeccable, meals were good and we arrived into Tokyo almost 1/2 an hour early.

One of the great things with arriving into Terminal 3 at Tokyo Haneda is once through immigration and customs (which is normally very quick) the option of the trains or monorail are right there at the terminal.

I am usually at my hotel within 20-30 minutes of getting off the aircraft.
