Описание: Though unable to attend in person, Raymond Nader, founder and president of the Family of Saint Sharbel, addresses those present at the FSS 2023 Annual Gala Dinner in Washington, DC.

Speaking from Lebanon, Raymond explains the country’s current difficulties, notes what they reveal about the state of people’s souls, and encourages all who hear him to treasure the eternal above the temporal, to invest in the spiritual above the physical.

Given this context, he highlights the gift of Saint Sharbel’s example—how, by embracing God totally, he embodies the true spiritual character and message of Lebanon—his continued activity in our world, and the need for the Gospel to continually be spread, including by sharing the stories of Saint Sharbel and other holy witnesses. The Family of Saint Sharbel exists to advance this humble but necessary mission.
