Finsbury Park to Hampstead Heath via Parkland Walk and Highgate Village. The Parkland Walk is the old Northern Line Branch to Ally Pally from Mooregate. It ceased to exist in the 1960s. But it's now an easy gradient up to Archway Rd where you have to exit by The Boogaloo Pub because the tunnel is blocked off. It's a home to bats which can't be disturbed. Then after a breather it's onwards up Jackson Lane to Highgate Village. It's a bit of a climb and gives your glutes a pounding.
