Описание: Meet Jake Stimell, IDA Intern and recipient of the 2020 Invisible Disabilities® Association Volunteer Award! www.InvisibleDisabilities.org

Jake has been selected based upon his extensive volunteerism with IDA in addition to his weeklong internship in 2019 while living daily with an invisible disability himself. Jake’s passion and enthusiasm fueled a yearlong pursuit of legislative opportunities for IDA’s National Disability ID initiative. Through his tenacious and tireless work, Jake helped IDA obtain legislative sponsors in Pennsylvania, New York and Alabama to help move forward bills for an approved designated symbol for disability allowing for voluntary disclosure on government issued ID’s. Thank you, Jake!
