You really have to try this recipe, DELICIOUS crunchy butter rolls made using the bread maker, the Panasonic SD-2500. Can also be made very well without one.
I used program 20 (the pizza program) to knead the dough for 15 minutes. It starts kneading immediately. If you don't have a bread maker, you can knead the dough yourself.
Ingredients for 4 large butter rolls;
300 gr. all purpose flour
100 ml. warm milk (not to warm)
100 ml. warm water
6 gr. sugar
5 gr. salt
5 gr. dried yeast
25 grams of melted butter
extra 4 strips of butter (about 20 gr.)
If you want to make 8 or 9 butter rolls double the ingredients.
