Ever wonder what it'd be like to hike down and camp at the bottom of the Grand Canyon? You're in the right place. In December 2023, I hiked the South Kaibab Trail from the South Rim to the Colorado River at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Spending two nights at the Bright Angel Campground next to the famous Phantom Ranch, I explored some of the inner canyon trails that branch off of the famous Rim-to-Rim route.
Grand Canyon National Park is one of the most spectacular places in North America, and if you ever get the chance to experience it, I hope you take the opportunity.
