✴️ Focus, strength, stealth, agility, and concentration. Yoga helps us develop all the skills a young ninja needs to succeed! In this class we practice "flow," which in yoga means linking breath and movement. This union promotes deep breathing, body awareness and focus as we train the body and mind. 🖤 Many of our poses today require balance and strength - this is an active class great for after school or a midday family break.
Poses combinations include:
1. Tall Mountain & Forward Fold
2. Star & Crouching Lion (also called Tiger) & Side Lunge
3. Downward Facing & Upward Facing Dog
4. Low lunge (Dragon) & High lunge
5. Child's Pose (Rock) & Tiger
6. Tree Pose & Extended Side Angle
🧘🏻♀️ Remember to move at your own pace and modify any poses as needed. Yoga should generally feel good in our bodies, not hurt. Take time to notice how your body is responding to the training and movements we do today, and remember to rest at the end! Namaste.
