Howler Monkeys are being ELECTROCUTED

Due to urban development, natural vines have been removed so howler monkeys and other wildlife use power cables to cross built-up areas. Many cables and power transformers are uninsulated, resulting in electrocutions and severe injuries.

We work extremely hard to provide the lifesaving rehab to countless monkeys rushed into our center, but sadly many are killed instantly and others suffer internal damage which often proves to be fatal.

This is why we are working with the local power company to insulate cables and power transformers across Costa Rica, preventing needless suffering and fatalities to the local wildlife.
