Sonoma Raceway BMW G87 M2 6MT POV 2 laps before limp mode HPDE3 NASA NorCal 2026-03-07

Описание: Trackday 25 in the G87 and back at Sonoma but this time with NASA NorCal. My first time with NASA and OMG, there is SO much going on. The track is hot non-stop from 8a-6p. They really pack the schedule in with several TT and racing sessions. I mistakenly registered for HPDE3 and they really restricted passing until later in day. Also my car was off today, and again JB4 let me down mid-session and ruined session 2 and had only 1 clean lap warming up before going into limp mode. Session 3 I took a passenger and moved back to stock power. After that I wasn't feeling it, so called it for the day. I'll be back again soon with Lightspeed in early April. So overall on OFF day driving-wise, but still good to experience a day with NASA. I'll try again in HPDE4 with them and sure things will be fine.


Notes:
Trackday 3 on the EBC RP-X pads. and they don't last very long. I have probably only 2 more trackdays left on them. I had Pagid RSL29s, and while they seemingly last forever, I never was happy with the bite these provided and always was left wanting more to have more confidence to brake later. Consumables are $$$ and these RP-X pads were a little over $600 shipped from Extreme Powerhouse. Still need to find something in the middle.
Continental ExtremeContact Force tires have impressive wear endurance. 9 trackdays in and may have a couple more. However, I'm really left wanting for more max grip. When these wear out, I'm going to go with Nanking CR-S
