Nagging with your body, not knowing that you are over talking and giving too many directions so all you do is chase and confuse the horse. If you nag with your body and are loud with your body, then your horse becomes confused and nervous. Soft hands make soft horses. Loud body language makes nervous and confused horses, it dose not instill confidence or leadership, it shows the horse that you do not know what you are doing.
If you are not aware that you are loud with your poor and inconsistent body language, then you can't fix it or improve. So when someone wants to defend this or argue, I have no time for people that want to be "Right Fighter", it is not about you or your ego.
If you can't handle the answer, don't ask the question. I don't ask for people input or advice since I don't want to hear, yet many want to ask me for help or advice and then get mad or defensive when I tell them what they don't want to hear.
Being soft takes time and work. So I try and show what I see as a horseman and what I think a horse sees and then it is up to you to either learn, ignore it or argue that you are right and I am wrong.
If anyone out there thinks that when I was loud and confusing and overwhelming and yelling and nagging with my fast crazy body language, that my horse and I were talking and communicating and having a good conversation, then you don't get it.
Lunging or round penning is about teaching a horse how to understand you and how to communicate with you. It is a process of you making clear what you are asking and the horse learning what if the right response. This does not happen without release or clear direction.
Slow, smooth and clear body talk is much better than loud fast fear jerky body talk. Just like rein control.
When I answered the lady that asked my opinion, I was trying to be nice and did not say she looked like an idiot, I told her she was going to make a nervous loud horse from her nagging. Since she wanted to argue and try and convince me that I was not seeing what I saw, I make this video to make my point clearer. It is up to her, if she wants me to post a link to her video so others can view it and see if they see what I saw, then I will post link. I doubt she will do this since I am sure many will see what I saw. To be fair, I tend to over exaggerate things when I talk about them so it appears clear and removes confusion. So some may see her actions not as bad as mine, and that is OK, but the point is being aware of what you are doing with your mouth, hands, feet and body, when working your horse, since all of those things either confuse or help the horse.
I really don't like making people look bad if they are trying to learn and listen, but if you want to argue or defend or try and justify what you are doing, then you encourage or force me to make my point the only way I know how. Normally it is not touchy lovey dovey.
*Another Stalker Freako: The lady that wanted me to look at her sent me a thank you letter for showing her what she was doing and then the next day sent some letter saying I was abusing her and bad teacher. Another example of why no one does this, had I just deleted her video and 100 request and begs for help, no problems. Horses attract such insecure and needy people and then wonder why no one wants to help them since they are freako's.
