Fair Use Explained (and why copyright online is hard)

If you already watched my "Fair Use in the Omegaverse" video, there is nothing new to see here! This is a shorter re-cut of that video to provide just a general overview of the fair use doctrine without the specific case study. Basically: this video is an explanation of fair use, with a focus on copyright issues online for platforms like YouTube. This video also received an automated copyright flag because of the small amount of the song "Violet" that accompanies a fanvid excerpt. I submitted a counter-notice claiming fair use. 30 days passed and the copyright holder never responded, so the copyright claim was released. Look out for a video about that in the future. :)
