DALLAS - Season 6 (1982-83) Clip (Miss Ellie Predicts The Future)

Описание: This is a brief clip from "Requiem", the 18th episode of the sixth season (1982-83) (and 121st episode, overall) of the hit 1978-91 CBS soap saga "Dallas". The original episode's airdate was Friday, February 11, 1983.

A few days after the annual Ewing Barbecue, where she announced her plans to break Jock's will (in a valiant attempt to stop J.R. & Bobby's war over Ewing Oil) and the death of Rebecca Barnes Wentworth, Ewing matriarch Eleanor Southworth "Miss Ellie" Ewing (Barbara Bel Geddes) eerily predicts the future of the younger generation of Ewing boys to her daughter-in-law Sue Ellen Ewing (Linda Gray).

Miss Ellie correctly informs her that thirty years from that moment in 1982, the war for Ewing Oil's presidency would no longer be between J.R. & Bobby, but it would now be between their respective sons John Ross and Christopher.

Who would have guessed that thirty years later, after this show aired, that a new version of "Dallas" would be on the air, and this exact prophecy is currently playing itself out?
