Join me on a breathtaking drive from Limuru to Rumuruti, passing through Gilgil and Nyahururu, along one of Kenya’s most scenic yet dangerous highways the Nairobi–Nakuru High way.
This route is full of contrasts: lush green highlands, beautiful valleys, and endless horizons that showcase the raw beauty of Kenya’s interior. But beneath that beauty lies danger reckless overtaking, speeding trailers, and blind corners that make this one of the most accident-prone highways in the country.
In this video, I capture both the stunning landscapes and a terrifying near-miss that almost turned tragic right in front of me. It’s a reminder of why we must stay alert on the road even when the views take your breath away.
