• 2 cups (480 ml) water
• 1 inch fresh ginger, (or 1 tbsp grated)
• 6–8 fresh mint leaves
• Very little tea — 5–6 loose tea leaves (or ½ small tea bag) — remember: use only a little
• 1–2 tbsp honey (to taste) if you like
• 1 small lemon (cut into rounds + extra to squeeze)
• Optional: sugar to taste (you mentioned you add sugar sometimes — add if you like it sweeter)
