They say you don't choose a boat, she chooses you. When I looked at Clover, tired and covered in scuffs, scratches and rust - I didn't just see a project—I saw my future home calling for help.She needed some love, and this is more a story of that love, her legacy and good old fashioned hard work. it is NOT a tutorial, prepare to laugh and to cry and see her transformed from an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan.

I spent 400 solo hours sanding, prepping, and painting her. It wasn't just a renovation job; it was a love letter to her past and a promise for our future adventures.

But here’s the catch: I had never painted a narrowboat before.
