Whenever it comes to insulated hiking boots, there are quite a lot of options out there... but I doubt that there is anything like Salomon X Ultra Winter CS. It is hard to explain how comfortable these boots are, because you need to experience wearing them yourself. Also, they are very lightweight hiking boots considering the size and the insulation.

The X Ultra bottom unit combines a stable yet agile Advanced Chassis with the confident traction of Contagrip.
Thinsulate insulation provides enough insulation for snowy, cold conditions.

The molded heel pad offers snowshoe protection, and a gaiter hook is convenient for the deeper snow missions.
