Linda’s first impression of Gingerhill Farm

Описание: Our intern Linda enjoys her internship while still working remotely! Linda is from San Francisco. She shares how she spent a few days in Oahu before coming to Big Island and she noticed a big contrast between the two islands. Big Island is definitely more rural and less populated than Oahu but they both share the aloha relaxed and slow paced energy. She shares how her journey of coming to Hawaii started. Her roommate moved here and that started a turn of events that brought her here. After some research, Linda found us and now she’s an intern at Gingerhill.

She tells Misha how she’s always dreamed of having a tiny house on Big Island and how she’d like to grow her own food someday. Her goals here are to explore the island, learn about agriculture, permaculture, different systems of growing food, among other things. She finds living in a community very nourishing and fulfilling in a lot of ways. Linda shares how she’s found working remotely very easy and manageable with the time difference. Hopefully this inspires other people to see that you can learn in Hawaii and still work. We’re lucky to have Linda here and we’re sure she’ll achieve her goals and someday own her tiny house on Big Island!
