#ExploringWalk Out of the 12 stations in Phase 1 of MRT Putrajaya Line, 10 stations are based on island platform design. Two exceptions are Kampung Selamat and Sri Damansara Sentral stations. These two stations are having dual side platforms, one for each direction of travel, as opposed to the island platform where a single platform lies between the tracks.

It is a part of the larger rail transport system in Kuala Lumpur known as the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System. The line is numbered 12 and coloured Yellow on official transit maps.
The new Putrajaya Line uses Hyundai-Rotem train sets that come with a distinctive duck face design in red.
The entire Putrajaya Line covers a span of 57.7km with a total of 36 stations. The average travel time between each stop is expected to take between two and three minutes. End to end, the entire journey would take an estimated 84 minutes.
