Thanks to his Infernal Shred innate ability, the hero does insane damage right from the get-go, making his laning easy, safe, comfortable to farm and makes his Desolator timing unmatched. This gives him map-control and takes towers incredible easy, leading to a strong snowballing level that gives Clinkz room to farm for larger items like Daedalus, Scythe, Aghs Scepter and more. This is why Clinkz is one of the best heroes in Dota 2 from a Pos 1 Carry role.
