This wedding was filmed in 1953 near Adwick on Dearne , Yorkshire.
This film was our very first interaction with an 8mm movie camera. Unlike today, there was no knowing what horrors had happened during the filming. We learned from this experience that stationary people having their pictures taken do not magically come to life by rapidly panning the movie camera from side to side. Some of the film has had to be cut as it needed motion medication to watch. Still not happy with this copy but editing can only do so much.
