Описание: Alibag Beach is located in the South of Mumbai. Alibag cha kulaba killa, is an old fort situated in the sea and is at a distance of 1km to 2km away from the shores of Alibag Beach, named Kolaba Fort. Alibag is a coastal town located about 96 km from Mumbai and 150 km from Pune.

Alibag is very popular as a weekend getaway from the cities of Mumbai and Pune. Alibag or Alibaug has also earned the name of "mini-goa". Alibag is known for its beautiful sandy beaches, plenty of forts and temples, and clean unpolluted air, making it a perfect getaway from your world of chaos. Despite being a small coastal town, you will find many activities to have your very own fun weekend.

The most visited beach in Alibag is Alibag Beach, which offers a spectacular view of not only the sunrise and sunset but of the Kolaba Fort as well. There are various fun activities to do on the beach, such as Horse Ride, Camel Ride, Boat Ride, and Motorbikes Ride, also stalls at the side to make your taste buds pop while enjoying the sunset view and the salty breeze on the beach. Water sports are also available.

Visiting Kolaba Fort is a must. The Colaba fort was once the cornerstone of the Maratha Empire, and most of the edifice is still in good shape. The best way to reach Kolaba Fort is via Boat, which we enjoyed a lot, nearby fisherman's boats are always available, and you may also go on a horse ride, splashing your way through the sea as the horse takes you to the foot of the fort. Another option is walking all the way to the fort through the sea, it's a long walk, but walking through the beautiful and refreshing seawater alongside your loved ones, is all you need sometimes.

We also went to Kihim Beach the next day of our trip, which is located 12 km away from Alibaug. Kihim Beach is famous for dense coconut trees, pollution-free air, and white sand. Also, If you ever visit Alibag make sure you see the Dashrath Patel Museum, unfortunately, it was closed when we went there.

On the road from thane to Alibag by car, took us 2.30 hr to cover the distance.

This trip was wonderful, but we never get enough of our adventure. This weekend ended with loads of music, masti and fun.
