Описание: If you have already paid money to a fraudster for a fake job, do not panic—but act quickly. Under Indian law, job fraud is a criminal offence involving cheating, impersonation, and cyber fraud.

Step 1: Collect Evidence

Immediately save all proof such as:
Emails, WhatsApp messages, call logs
Payment proof (UPI, bank transfer, wallet, screenshots)
Fake offer letters, company names, and phone numbers

Step 2: Report to Cyber Crime

File a complaint on the National Cyber Crime Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) or call 1930 (India’s cybercrime helpline). Early reporting increases the chance of freezing the fraudster’s account.

Step 3: Police Complaint (FIR)

Visit your nearest police station and file an FIR under:
IPC Section 420 – Cheating
IPC Section 468 / 471 – Forgery & fake documents
IT Act Section 66D – Cyber fraud
Police are legally bound to register your complaint, especially in cyber fraud cases.

Step 4: Inform Your Bank

Immediately inform your bank or payment app to request a transaction freeze or chargeback.
