Every moment of the day we are making decisions: Left or right, burger or pasta, stay or leave, bus or subway, sit or stand, beer or soda. Some decisions, like career, partner, education, and place to live, are big, others are small. How do we make them? In this series of 5 videos we discuss the compasses we can use to guide our behaviour. In this video: Your Values. Rather than acting on impulse, act on the basis of the core values you hold. This approach fits with one advocated by practitioners of ACT: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. The values compass may be the most useful of them all.
