How to Play DEADLOCK with PlayStation and Xbox Controllers (No Gyro)

Описание: I've been playing Deadlock for quite a while now.... experimenting with both the PlayStation (Dualsense) controller and the Xbox Series controller.

Deadlock is a game that is hard to map in a controller scheme due to the high amount of buttons that it requires. After hours and a lot of different controller configurations, I found the best configuration that is (all based in my personal preference):

-The easiest to play with (without having to make your fingers get into weird positions)
-The best for each controller (whether it is a PlayStation and Xbox controller)
-The one that possesses the most important commands to play the game

This is just to add more context, but I'm a person who suffers from carpal tunnel and that plays on PC and consoles all the time. I ALWAYS PLAY WITH CONTROLLERS, EVEN ON PC.

I've played probably all my life with PlayStation and Xbox controllers. Specially PlayStation controllers. So I consider I have a good perspective on what action each button should do. All this based on experience playing A LOT of games with controller and specially 3rd person videogames.

You guys can find the layouts for the PlayStation and Xbox controllers on Steam in the 'Community Layouts' menu as:

"BEST PlayStation Controller (DualSense) Layout - NO GYRO"

"BEST Xbox Controller Layout"

Hope you guys like these two controller layouts.

As a Deadlock fan and a person who loves playing videogames with controllers, I hope these layouts can be of consideration for Valve when making the final controller layouts for the game.
