In Overwatch Rise and Shine, we see Mei's short take place in Ecopoint Antarctica, expanding on the details of the map story in that level! When Captain Opara tells the team to go into cryostatis, Mei awakens to find that the world has changed a lot in 9 years...there's a lot of great little details of Overwatch lore and story in this new animated short - showing how Mei survives, and why she perhaps survived in the first place, as well as her engineering skills, and some light being shed on other events happening in the last 9 years of Overwatch!
