We enjoyed our walk in Penang.
In Part 4, we visited the Chowrasta wet
market. It is just beside the Walk@Chowrasta.
Chowrasta Wet Market in George Town is one of the oldest wet market and has undergone several renovations. Some locals still call it 'Kelenga Bansan'. Please excuse us for the word. Locals still go there to buy fresh products for home and businesses. It has stood against modern supermarkets. On the adjacent streets, you can find many coffee shops selling many local favourite foods and beverages. There are clothes, shoes, fruits and nursery vendors to shop at and buy stuff.

Penang is located on the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
It is divided into two parts by the Strait of Malacca.
#penang #island is where the capital city George Town is located and Seberang Perai on the Malay Peninsula.. These two halves are physically connected by the Penang Bridge and the Second Penang Bridge. Travellers can also go there by ferry at Butterworth or fly into the Penang International #airport in Bayan Lepas.
Tourists usually go to George Town for sight seeing and for the local delicious food.
