If you have Autism, don't allow this label to knock you down to the ground. I never allowed Asperger's to have such a prerogative and here I am today (and will be in the future). If I can stick to this life and have hope that I have a purpose, you can too! April 2 means a lot to me every year - probably more than my own birthday. It brings peace to my heart. I love to see the entire world spreading not just Autism Awareness, but Autism Acceptance. I never allowed my Autism to have the prerogative to slow me down, insofar of getting my first book published at age 23, becoming an Eagle Scout equivalent, and earning an Associate's of Science degree in Chemistry.
