Sven Vogel – Apache CloudStack PMC Member - Meet the Community Series

Описание: Sven Vogel is a Senior Manager R&D - Cloud and Infrastructure at EWERK Group. He is an Apache CloudStack PMC Member, a Member of the Apache Software Foundation and was a VP of CloudStack in 2020.
He started his journey with the open-source cloud management system 6 years ago. In mid of 2019, Sven became a PMC member of the project. And in March 2020 Sven became the VP of Apache CloudStack.

Sven Vogel is an experienced cloud engineer and infrastructure manager. He is skilful in building public and private clouds for big enterprises and has experience in working with large technology set, part of which CloudStack, KVM, VMware, NetApp, Nutanix, etc.

In this interview, we asked Sven to share his success story in the community. How he started with CloudStack, what was his responsibilities as VP of CloudStack and how he managed to involve so many people to commit to the project.
