In this episode of our Cape York adventure, we kick things off with one of our most fun camp nights yet – parked in a gravel pit but laughing nonstop and making the best memories. The next day, we visit the stunning Fruit Bat Falls, but things get interesting when we spot a crocodile warning sign… do we swim or play it safe? Spoiler: the crystal-clear water was too tempting to resist!
From there, we push on towards the Jardine River Crossing, stop in at the famous Croc Tent, and finally take on the rough and challenging road to Punsand Bay. Known for its deep crossings, ruts, and tough conditions – especially with a caravan in tow – it was a drive we won’t forget.
Every kilometre brings us closer to the Tip of Australia, and the excitement is building!
