PCV Valve Cleaning

Описание: Removing, cleaning and replacing a PCV valve (Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve). If the valve is not working, it’s possible that it may just be clogged up with carbon deposits. Before replacing the valve it is worth cleaning it first to see if it improves the symptoms. It should be cleaned with an approved EGR and Carb cleaner.

Faulty or clogged PCV valve symptoms include:

• Rough idle
• Engine misfire
• Poor fuel economy
• Possible check engine light on the dash
• Whining or whistling noise from the engine
• Excessive suction at the oil filler cap
• Possible oil leaks caused by increased crankcase pressure
• Poor engine performance
