Vol. 3: Figure 8 Pools Hike, NSW

Описание: 02.10.16: Volume 3, When the cousins invited you for an impromptu hike to the Figure 8 Pools - the family said, "Hell yeah!" It is a unique geological spectacle in the southern reaches of Royal National Park, near Burning Palms Beach. This coastal rock shelf is dotted with natural rock pools, including few in the shape of a near-perfect figure 8. The walk down to the Figure 8 Pools from Garawarra Farm carpark were downhill into an open field with incredible views to the north and south. As we continued down hill, we walked on the beach, clambered over the rocks around the headland before we reached the pools. There my niece and I took a freezing dip in the Figure 8 Pools. The return walk to Garawarra Farm is VERY challenging, but in the end it was WORTH the hike!
