“Wanbli Gleska”,"Chief (Headman) Spotted Eagle", is a leader of the Itazipco,or, Sans Arc Sioux People. The Sans Arc, or “Itazipcho People” means: “without bows”. He is of the Wakan band, or, the Holy band. This band was called the Holy band, because they held the sacred white calf pipe. Chief Spotted Eagle was Head Chief (Headman) of the Itazipco Peoplle and was a Hereditary Chief. The Miniconwoju and Itazipco Peoples were closely allied and they were always together, often joined, by marriage relationships. Part of this band were considered "hostile", when they were joined with Chief Sitting Bull's band,while another part of the band were Agency Indians. Chief Spotted Eagle was born onto this world sometime in 1834 and crossed-over one final time to the Spirit World, sometime, in 1892. Chief Spotted Eagle's son is listed as: Spotted Eagle Jr.
