We are thrilled to present this fun and captivating conversation with one of the best people in music Corey White from Shocore! We sat down with him recently and we discussed most everything from his beginnings up until the present. We feel that it was one of our favorite discussions ever and we hope that you enjoy it even half as much as we enjoyed doing it.

Everyone has a life story but not everyone gets to lead and pack in so much creativity and substance into their lives as Corey. He spent his early years creating music and traveling the world then settled down and used his creative mind in the film industry. He stopped writing and creating music for many years until he got a call from his music life collaborator Terry (Sho) Murray. The call came just at the right time and they started making music again. This was actually the second call that Corey can point to and remember it changing his life's path. Back in the early 2000's Corey was fronting the band DDT and when creative differences reared it's ugly head the band chose to go in a different direction. The singer was tending to his bruised ego and sort of mourning the loss of his livelihood when Sho called him and asked if he wanted to make some music with him. Mr White aka Cor (not Bryan Cranston lol) jumped at the chance and music history was about to take place. Shocore was formed and the first song they ever recorded together was "Bonecracker and it was a huge hit and gave them increased notoriety and fame! They had a fun provocative live show that they took on tour for their full length Devil Rock Disco album and they started cultivating life long fans for their band. They had their fun and enjoyed the rockstar lifestyle. When they finally returned home they started working on "Evilution" their next album and had a great time creating more music. More great music was born and they again toured to reach their fan base again. There was a hiatus thrown in after that and life pulled them in different directions. We discussed some of the chapters of his life and then started talking about the last couple of years as the band reunited again. They have created another great album "Taste to Habit" and had fun being back in the process and toured it briefly before the pandemic put that on hold. They are working on new things as we speak and we will keep you posted on anything that gets released.
