Fake I-T officer who conducted 'raid' at house of Jayalalithaa's niece surrenders

A man who identified himself as income tax officer to conduct raid at the house of Deepa Jayakumar, niece of late chief minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa, surrendered. He apparently showed resolve to introduce himself and held discussion with Deepa's husband Madhavan. But once the police arrived and started questioning him he fled the scene. The man produced a identity card to Madhavan which showed his name as Mitesh Kumar and his designation as 'assistant commissioner.' Since Deepa was not there in the house it was Madhavan who confronted him.
