BJP leader Amit Malviya tweeted audio tapes of a purported conversation between poll strategist Prashant Kishor and some journalists on Saturday. In the clip, Prashant Kishore can be heard claiming that Mamata Banerjee's TMC has conceded defeat in West Bengal Elections. He also added that PM Narendra Modi’s popularity is decisively working in favour of the BJP. “In a public chat on Club House, Mamata Banerjee’s election strategist concedes that even in TMC’s internal surveys, BJP is winning,” BJP social media head Amit Malviya tweeted sharing the audio tapes.
Although Prashant Kishore did not question the veracity of the audio tapes, but responded with a tweet saying that BJP will finish with less than 100 seats in the Bengal elections. "I am glad BJP is taking my chat more seriously than words of their own leaders! They should show courage & share the full chat instead of getting excited with selective use of parts of it. I have said this before & repeating again - BJP will not to CROSS 100 in WB. Period", Prashant Kishore said in a tweet.
