Описание: Nettleton is a small town positioned in both Lee and Monroe counties not far from Tupelo. It is a town in relative obscurity, as I did not know much or heard much about the town within a week or so prior to visiting. However, it is one of those hidden gems as Nettleton was built around the Kansas City, Memphis, and Birmingham railroad and the town was named after the railroad's president George Henry Nettleton. As you'll see in the vlog, the Frisco train, as it was famously referred to in it's heyday, was a staple in the small town and Nettleton was an intermediate, yet major stop on the route. Today, the BNSF freight locomotive frequently passes through Nettleton. The mural in the town exudes so much history about Nettleton. Hope you enjoy!!!
