Location -
Pindari Glacier Trek in Bageshwar (Uttarakhand) was my 3rd glacier trek in Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. This is a beautiful trek which begins from Khati village. Khati is about 50 kms from Bageshwar. Pindari Glacier is located at height of 3353 meters. It's located amidst the peaks of Nanda Devi & Nanda Kot ranges of Himalayas.
Pindari Glacier is 60 kilometers trek which starts from Khati. First day you reach a place called Dwali. Dwali has few stay options. I spent my night at Diwali . Dwali is also a confluence place of Pindar and Kafni river. Kafni river comes originates from Kafni Glacier.
On your 2nd day you start your trek from Dwali and reach a place called Phurkia or Furkia. Usually trekkers spend their second night here and then trek to Pindari Glacier next day. But decided to trek the same day as had enough time. The best time to trek Pindari Glacier is during the summer months, when the weather is relatively pleasant.
