Описание: WebAssembly emerged in 2015 as a new browser technology with ambitions to provide near-native speed secure execution for high-performance web apps. Since then, this technology has spread beyond the browser with many promising applications due to its sandboxing and portability properties.

The Component Model is built on top of the WebAssembly standard and stands to change the way developers build software. It standardizes the way WebAssembly modules communicate with host systems, and critically, it allows components produced by any language ecosystem to compose with components produced by any other language ecosystem.
