Many of my subscribers have been asking the same question again and again:
👉 Why is there STILL no FPV update for the DJI Mini 5 Pro?
Right now, DJI allows FPV-style flying using:
DJI Goggles 3
DJI Motion Controller 3
DJI FPV Remote Controller 3
…but not on the DJI Mini 5 Pro.
What makes this even more confusing is:
The DJI Mini 4 Pro can fly FPV
The latest DJI Neo 2 supports FPV
Even DJI’s newest drones are getting features faster
You can control drones with an Apple Watch… yet still no FPV for Mini 5 Pro?
And it’s not just the Mini 5 Pro — the DJI Air 3S is also missing FPV support, another drone many people expected to be included.
So in this video, I ask:
Is this a technical limitation?
A product segmentation decision?
Or is an update quietly coming that DJI hasn’t talked about yet?
This isn’t a rant — it’s a genuine question from a large part of the DJI community who already own the hardware and just want clarity.
