Ms. Muhindo Justine, Assistant RDC Kasese District in-charge of Kasese Municipality, has advised the public to prioritize peace, security and socio-economic transformation meant for development as key points that ought to be protected through voting the NRM flag bearers in the 2026 general elections.
During a one-on-one interview with our reporter this afternoon in Kasese town, Ms. Justine explained that even though Uganda is a multiparty system, there is a need to use rights in the right way.
She asked the public to protect the gains the nation has so far attained, especially beginning from their families.
Ms. Justine requested citizens to be patriotic to their nation and join the election exercise without fear while keeping peace.
On Thursday, 15 Jan 2026, Ugandans will decide who will be their next President, MPs and other political leaders meant to develop the nation.
