Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this MORryde GooseTech 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box. Now, when your fifth wheel isn't hooked up, your truck doesn't have to sit idle, it can still get things done. This cushion fifth wheel to gooseneck pin box is going to let you switch from towing to hauling with ease. This is designed to replace your Lippert 1116 Fifth-Wheel Pin Box, and this is going to connect directly to your 2- and 5/16-inch gooseneck ball inside the bed of your truck.

So because of that, you're gonna be able to forget about those bulky fifth-wheel hitches that take up so much space in the bed of your truck. And then once your trailer is parked, you can carry whatever else you want in the bed of your truck and you're not gonna have to worry about that bulky fifth-wheel hitch just sitting in the bed of your truck taking up space and being unused while your trailer is parked. Now, with this, you're also going to notice a smoother ride as well, because inside there's a rubber shear spring, and that's going to help absorb bumps and road shock. And that's gonna also cut down on that annoying chucking feeling that often comes when you're towing. This is built tough.

This has a really nice powder-coated steel construction, so it's robust. It's gonna hold up really well for you. And this is ideal for fifth-wheels rated between 11,500 and 14,000 pounds gross towing weight. Now, this is going to be a pretty straightforward install with the included hardware that you see here, but even though the installation is gonna be pretty simple, because of the durable build that this features, this steel construction, this is heavy, this weighs about 175 pounds. I needed two other people to help me get this in place on my table just because of it being so heavy.

So all that to say, make sure that you do have enough support to lift this into place when you are installing this because of the weight factor. Now, hookup are gonna be pretty simple. I'm gonna give you a different angle view here, a little bit lower just so you have a better view of this end of the item here. So this coupler is going to latch automatically thanks to the Demco EZ Latch coupler that you see right here. And so, as you probably are familiar with the Demco EZ Latches, you don't have to have the latch open to connect to your ball.

This will just drop right onto that ball. It'll automatically connect. And then when you're ready to disconnect, you're just going to pull that back and then lift it up off the ball. It's gonna be just that simple. But a nice added benefit here is this also includes this remote release handle. And so you're not gonna have to climb into the bed of your truck to open up the latch. You can just stand outside the bed of your truck. And I'm gonna try to be careful here, since I have this balanced on blocks here. And then you'll just use this to pull that latch all the way open, and then you'll be able to disconnect that way as well. So that's a nice added bonus. This comes with, if you notice here, this cross, we have one here and one on the other side, that's designed for your safety chain. So I do recommend using safety chains, and if you don't have any, I do have a a suggestion there for you on your screen. You can just take that model number and pop it in the search field of our website. That will take you to that chain, and you can add that to your order if you so desire.
